Winter Lights Community Party – You’re Invited!
Join us in celebrating 25 wonderful years of Ark T at our Winter Lights Festival on Friday!
On Friday, 15 November, from 5–8 pm, our venue at 242B Barnes Road,
OX4 3RQ will come alive with festive lights, food, live music from talented local bands, and the warmth of community spirit.
There’ll also be chill out rooms for those who want a quieter vibe.
It will be the perfect evening to connect with friends, old and new, and share in the joy of the season.

🌟 Everyday Oxford: A Community Art Exhibition
This summer TORCH, Ark T and the Museum of Oxford presented a creative writing and well being course for adults, led by Professor Patrick McGuinness. Participants authored an anthology of poetry titled “Everyday Oxford,” inspired by objects from the Museum of Oxford’s collection.
Now, we’re bringing this anthology to life in our Welcome Space with a special exhibition. The exhibition features work by each participant, as well as an interactive work – where you can write your own piece in response to a prompt and add it to our giant creative writing loom.
Come by, contribute your thread, and be part of this evolving artwork.
💫 Welcome Space – Your Creative Community Hub
Our Welcome Space is a warm, inviting space open Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, located at Templars Square Shopping Centre, OX4 3XH. It’s a place where creativity and community come together. Drop in to explore various artistic activities like painting, drawing, model making, or anything that takes your fancy. No prior experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Whether you’re looking to try something new or simply to relax in a friendly environment, the Welcome Space is here for you. We look forward to creating with you!
🍲 Community Lunch on 2 December – Everyone’s Welcome!
Join us for our next Community Lunch on Monday, 2 December, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at 242 Barns Rd, Oxford, OX4 3RQ. These ‘pay-what-you-feel’ lunches are all about bringing people together over a delicious meal, fostering connections, and building a supportive community. There’s always a creative activity that you can join in with too. There’s no need to book—just come as you are, and enjoy good food
