Ark-T in collaboration with Oxford University’s Science Together Programme and Participatory Research Fund
The University of Oxford, in collaboration with Ark-T, researched what people believe is important for living well.
Join us in viewing and celebrating the artwork made by the people of OX4 that tells that story.
Living Well Locally Exhibition
The project explored the following questions:
- What do you want your future to look like?
- What does living well mean for you?
We were interested to learn more about what the OX4 community values. We invited participants to share their thoughts and ideas. Their input helped Ark-T explore what our community needs to thrive.
The Living Well Locally displayed the culmination of a series of three workshops with participants ranging from children as young as seven to adults, all of who engaged in a creative process to explore the answers to the above-listed questions. Each piece of art is a unique reflection of what living well means to the individuals in our community.
Dr Astrid Krisch, a researcher from the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation, University of Oxford is assessing these creative contributions, providing valuable insights into our collective wellbeing.
Visitors responded to the questions posed in the exhibition about what “living well” means to them, contributing to our evolving display by creating something independently or asked a staff member for assistance.
Anything made or wrote was included in the exhibition (with participants permission). Work was returned to participants
Enjoy the showcase of beautiful art which celebrates the voices and visions of OX4 and please join us on this journey that aims to improve our community’s wellbeing.
