Hire a space

We have two sites in Cowley which sit a 5 minute walk away from each other, one on Barns Road and the other in Templars Square. We also run an artroom in Orchard Meadow Primary School in Blackbird Leys. 

Our spaces are suitable for a variety of purposes including classes, meetings, celebrations, rehearsals and staff away days. 

We champion the work of other social change organisations and individuals and can support you however we are able, including special venue hire.

Ark-T Centre @ (Templars Square) 

We have a Wellbeing Drop in Centre, which is open to the public four days a week, Monday-Thursday 10am-3pm.  

Here we hold exhibitions and free creative drop in activities for all ages and have a workshop upstairs where we run our arts groups! 

 
At The Venue (Barns Rd)  

We have the following spaces: 

  • A kitchen 
  • 4 flexible spaces, including 2 rooms with a removable partition to create one large hall space

Great for lectures, training, fitness classes and socials. Popular for all types of events from team away days to kids’ birthday parties, the Main Hall is a bright, modern space with underfloor heating, air conditioning and a serving hatch through to the kitchen.

Great for courses, meetings and workshops.Room 1 is a versatile space with windows looking out onto the garden. With underfloor heating and air-conditioning, it’s a great space whatever the weather.

Great for meetings, working lunches and social clubs. Room 2 is a bright space with views of the gardens and a hatch to the kitchen for those all-important refreshments.

Great for meetings, classes and workshops. At the front of the building, Room 3 is a bright space with floor-to-ceiling tinted windows looking out onto the street.

Great for small meetings, tutoring and workspace. Our smallest room, Room 4 is a great space to get some work done. Ideal for solo-working, 1:1s or groups of up to 6.

The Kitchen at The Venue is communal and open to all for tea, coffee and the biscuit tin. It can also be booked for cooking with a space or alone and is fully equipped with everything you need, just bring your favourite ingredients.
