Nicky is our creativity practitioner, and joined Ark T in 2019 . Nicky is a qualified mental health nurse having received her degree from the University of West of England in Bristol. As a mental health nurse, Nicky worked on acute wards, mental health wards, and in the community supporting people with long and enduring mental health difficulties. Nicky is also a qualified nursery nurse, having spent much of her career managing nurseries. Nicky is passionate about creating a positive environment where people can feel safe to express themselves creatively, and develop confidence and creative solutions.
In addition to art and creativity, Nicky loves nature – her favourite thing is to sit on her house boat, and watch the river pass by.
